i am way behind. oh man, am i ever dragging my insect-bitten feet. however, to quote a fellow traveler, "you can either spend your time writing about experiences, or making them." i've chosen the latter, and while the blog may be sagging from neglect, at least i can say that i've been having a blast. my plans for one night in krabi turned into three, and likewise for ko phi phi. actually, i think i had four nights there. see how much fun it was? i can't even remember.
anyways, i've left the hazy skies and shady bars of thailand behind for the greener pastures of laos. actually, i'm not sure if there really are greener pastures here; i've only ventured a few kilometers (one or two miles) in to the country. and if i could be bothered to walk 10 feet to my left*, i'd be able to see the mekong river, which serves as the border between these two great nations. one of these days, i'll put down the beerlao, pick up a pencil and get crackin' on all the fun things i've seen and done and wished i'd done in the past week.
